Job Overview:

As a Store Operations Manager, you’ll own the performance and success of your assigned Zapp Store to include P&L, inventory management, loss prevention and operational effectiveness.

You’ll create strategies with senior management to elevate your store, ensuring Health & Safety standards along with Zapp’s internal policies are rigorously embedded and adhered to.

You will pride yourself in nurturing the store team to be the best versions of themselves, so they can in turn provide the best service to customers.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all Zapp policies and procedures are adhered to at all times and all operational standards are met.

  • Maintain the highest level of security for both inventory and assets.

  • Create Store business plans in conjunction with the AOM, which deliver business goals and performance targets.

  • Maintain and improve Food Safety and Health and Safety Standards for the Store.

  • Own the condition and maintenance of the building(s), equipment and the fleet.

  • Promote the licensing objectives and demonstrate that licence conditions are fully met at all times.

  • Review, improve and maintain standard operating procedures.

  • Manage, engage, train and motivate the Store team creating a welfare culture and high-performing team.

  • Provide and sustain the highest standards of customer service.

  • Review, achieve and improve budgets, targets and KPI’s.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing 24/7 front-line operations.

  • Previously led large teams (15+) including other Managers.

  • Willingness to work various shift patterns - including weekends - to support operations.

  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to quickly derive insights and implement improvements based on analysing data.

  • Ability to work with many different stakeholders from Customer Experience, Central HQ, Shift Management to seek guidance or suggest improvements.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience in logistics, e-commerce or retail.
