Traditional access management methods are human-intensive and often have significant blind spots, making it challenging to manage access risks effectively. Job Duties

  • Build Data Pipelines: Create robust data ingestion, processing, and storage pipelines to handle massive volumes of cloud identity logs and metadata from diverse sources. Implement efficient ETL processes, data cleaning, and transformation techniques.
  • Optimize and Deploy: Fine-tune models, deploy them at scale on AWS, and ensure their continuous improvement and performance. Utilize containerization and orchestration tools for efficient deployment and management.
  • Integrate: Connect and integrate AI/ML with other products and cloud services to provide scalable, performant and cost-effective solutions and cohesive experience.
  • Collaborate on AI/ML Modeling: Work with data scientists to design, develop, and maintain machine learning models and algorithms to analyze cloud identity access data risks for governance, and detect anomalies, and threats. This includes: Data Analysis and Feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and optimization, algorithm development and implementation, addressing challenges like imbalanced datasets and concept drift
  • Collaborate: Work closely with backend engineers, data scientists, and product teams to integrate AI solutions into our core platform. Contribute to API design and ensure seamless communication between AI components and other systems.
  • Innovate: Stay abreast of the latest AI/ML research and explore new techniques to enhance our security capabilities. Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and drive the adoption of new technologies.
  • Post Production Support: Pipeline and model maintenance and issue resolution

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software development with cloud technologies
  • 3+ years of practical AI/ML data pipeline, modeling and deployment.
  • Advanced degree (MS) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience is acceptable
  • Expertise in machine learning, data pipeline, AI/MLOps for models in deep learning, natural language processing, time series analysis, AWS services such as Spark, containerization, S3, Redshift, Neo4j or related tools.
  • Language Proficiency in Golang
  • Languages and Frameworks Many and varied, with understanding of technical and community pros, cons, and tradeoffs.
  • Experience with AWS, big data technologies (Spark, Redshift), and distributed computing.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Passion for applying AI to solve real-world security challenges and a strong desire to make a meaningful impact.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work with others in a conscientious manner.
  • Adaptable and flexible for success in a startup environment.
  • Problem solving skills with a design mindset.
  • Self starter capabilities where you can help to define direction and deliver.
  • Knowledge of security concepts, threat detection techniques, and anomaly detection algorithms strongly.

The base annual compensation range being offered for this role depending on individual candidate level and experience is $180,000 to $240,000 and it provides an opportunity to participate in equity ownership of our technology startup.
