Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Head of HR who will oversee all Human Resource operations ensuring a positive employee experience. In this newly created and visible role reporting to the CEO, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our company culture and driving organization through: designing and implementing people related processes, workflows, tools, systems to help scale for growth.

Responsibilities:
- Provide thought leadership regarding people-related strategies and execution while leading and scaling the People team.
- Streamline processes – You will help lead the creation of defining and documenting the core HR processes after you determine if they make sense.
- Partner with Managers and Employees as the first point of contact from People Operations.
- Design and manage employee lifecycle events and workflows and continuously look for opportunities to scale processes while keeping positive employee experience in mind.
- Main Point of Contact and liaison with Benefits Broker.
- Design and/or roll out People Programs specific to Performance Enablement, Talent Planning, Focal Reviews, etc.
- Oversee outsourced Oleria India HR to drive consistency in employee experience and programs.
- Handle sensitive employee relations situations and look for opportunities to coach both managers and team members.
- Main Point of Contact for all Core HR systems and tools.
- Create and revise HR system and operations documentation, job aids and other training materials that reflect current system functionality as well as HR processes and procedures.
- Conduct data validation and integrity audits, mitigate risks and implement corrective actions
- Develop internal reports, dashboards, and respond to annual compliance reporting requests
- Work with the Leadership Team to develop employee morale events and in office programs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state and local labor laws and regulations
Skills Required:
- A dynamic, proven People leader who values working in a highly collaborative environment where you, your team and others partner to accomplish great things.
- Not afraid to lead and roll up your shirt sleeves.
- Proven experience of 15+ years in HR, preferably in scaling startups.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations, employee development, and performance management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

The base annual compensation range being offered for this role depending on individual candidate level and experience is $180,000 to $220,000, and an opportunity to participate in equity ownership.
