The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Engineer to provide part-time IT helpdesk and operational support for our London office. This role ensures smooth IT operations by addressing user issues, maintaining systems, and supporting daily IT activities. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, customer-focused, and skilled in troubleshooting a variety of IT challenges.
Responsibilities:
Helpdesk Support:

- Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related issues and queries.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
Daily IT Operations:

- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and email configurations.
- Monitor and ensure network connectivity and system performance in the office.
Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of IT incidents and resolutions.
- Provide updates and reports to the India IT Manager on ongoing issues and tasks.
User Training and Support:

- Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up IT systems and conducting basic training.
- Provide guidance to users on best practices for IT security and system usage.
IT Infrastructure Maintenance:

- Coordinate with the global IT team to ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
- Support periodic updates, patches, and system upgrades.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in IT Support or similar role.
- Familiarity with Windows, macOS and Google workspace environment's.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software and network issues.
- Basic understanding of IT Security best practices.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, network configurations and email systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in the UK and flexbillty to work part-time hours.
