About the Role
Feathery has been growing quickly and we’ve been taking on more, and larger, customers. We're seeking an Insurance Evangelist with an entrepreneurial and building spirit to join our founding sales team. As an early team member, you'll be instrumental in helping define our positioning in the insurance industry, building relationships, and creating thought leadership content.
Beyond your work, you'll gain leadership responsibilities early on as we grow the team and close customers. You'll be involved in scaling the product, the team, and the entire company.
What You'll Do:
- Thought Leadership: Serve as a spokesperson and thought leader for Feathery in the insurance industry. Share insights through conferences, blogs, webinars, and whitepapers.
- Customer Engagement: Engage with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and demonstrate how Feathery’s solutions can address their challenges.
- Industry Networking: Build and maintain relationships with industry influencers, partners, and stakeholders. Represent Feathery at industry conferences, events, and forums.
- Solution Advocacy: Articulate the value proposition of Feathery’s products and services for the insurance industry. Work closely with the product and marketing teams to develop compelling messaging and positioning.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about insurance industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes. Provide insights and feedback to the product team to ensure our offerings meet market needs.
- Content Creation: Develop and distribute educational and promotional content that highlights the benefits and features of Feathery’s solutions.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and customer success to align strategies and drive customer engagement.
Skills You'll Need to Bring:
- Industry Expertise: Extensive knowledge of the insurance industry, including trends, challenges, and regulatory environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
- Public Speaking: Experience in public speaking, presenting at industry events, and conducting webinars.
- Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders and influencers.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather insights from market data and customer feedback.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with technology and the ability to quickly learn and explain new software solutions.
