The Role

This is a unique opportunity for an FP&A Analyst to join Cloudsmith and support the business during an exciting period of rapid growth. You will be the first FP&A hire into the business and become a key member of the team. You will partner with the Head of Finance to design and implement the financial planning processes, uncover actionable insights and support strategic decisions. This role is perfect for someone looking for career growth, to shape a FP&A function as it grows and to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Forecasting: Develop and manage financial models to support budgeting, forecasting and long term strategic planning.

• Performance Analysis: Analyse financial performance trends, identifying risks and actionable insights.

• Business Partnering: Collaborate cross functionally enhancing reporting and analysis.

• Strategic Support: Assist the Head of Finance in evaluating pricing strategies and cost efficiencies.

• Process Improvement: Implement tools and processes which will enhance financial planning and reporting.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 3+ years experience.

• Experience working as part of an FP&A Team.

• Exceptional excel, modelling and forecasting tools.

• Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting.

• Excellent team player, but ability to work independently.

• Deadline driven.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in a SaaS business.

• Experience in digital transformation or implementing new systems.
